Face Off

The fate of the worlds were growing dim, yet all was still confusing; but I'll bring you up to speed. My name is Phoenix: Guardian of the Galaxy. By the powers intergalactic - the energy which creates the very particles of matter that made up the universe, I was granted supremacy over all the beings that inhabit the worlds. A mere Terran woman, I was plucked from my Earth and bestowed with the mantle of the Phoenix - the very mantle which had been carried by so many beings throughout the Ions.

Who I was, or who I am now is not as important as what I am. Inheriting these abilities from the former phoenix, I am to uphold the power galactic and govern the balance of good and evil, which is what brings me back to my home, planet Earth. The larvae of darkness grows strong here, implanted by my counterpart the Malevolence and nursed to a bulging vile wave of terror, I have come to extinguish this upheaval in the universe before it grows too powerful. Like myself, another Terran has been chosen by the powers galactic - except this one was constructed to help shift the universe back to a place and time of dark fury. Who he was or is now - like myself is also not important, however will become clear to you soon enough.

Before you, two women face each other in a dark, foul place. Freedom Girl and Scorpion, beings that fight for the side of goodness on this beautiful blue planet, three from the bright star called Sun. The apprentice of Malevolence has threatened this world by acquiring massive weapons of destruction, through the unsorted demise of the former Soviet Block. The nuclear devices, armed and fated to tear into this planet's populated societies - have been used as a bargaining tool to collect the world's superwomen - challenged to come and face each other in an arena of death, or be held responsible for the destruction of Earth.
