These pictures were scanned from an old sketchbook that I found recently. These were just pencil doodles I did for my own pleasure well over a decade ago and feature a pony-tailed blonde teenager named Quinn McKane whose sole ambition in life is to be a superheroine. Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) she’s totally inept at it. In 6 of these drawings, Quinn, as her superheroine alter ego Youngstar, is constantly on the receiving end of a battle. Since these sketches were never designed as a series I changed Youngstar’s costume each time I drew her. I kept the ponytail in all the drawings though-- I just dig the look.I have a few more sketches of Quinn that I may polish up for a later update if the response is positive. Who knows? This may also encourage me to do some new ones someday. Just for fun I provided some new captions and actually gave her tormentors names. Hope you like 'em.
